Abstract Submissions - 2026 Predictive Phenomics

We encourage submissions that align with the following core topics:

High-throughput (HTP) Workflows for Microbial Phenotyping: Integration of measurements with HTP experimentation through scheduling and provenance tracking across instruments.
Automating Platforms with AI: AI approaches, data models, and pipelines to connect platforms with AI for microbial phenotyping and design.
Autonomous Experimentation Through Self-driving Labs: Integration of robotics, agentic AI and lab information systems for autonomous strain design-build-learn-test cycles.
AI-guided Protein Engineering: Models and automated platforms for enzyme and protein variant design.
AI-guided Pathway Engineering: Multi-omics and phenotypic measurement integration for AI-driven pathway engineering.
Predictive Models for Microbial Engineering: AI models for strain optimization, community interactions, or robust conditions for optimizing phenotype.

1. Submission Portal:

Please click the submission button at the bottom of the web page. You will be asked to create an account to complete the submission form. The submission form consists of fill-in-the-blank fields, including a brief description of your submission, as well as a place to upload your file (Word, PDF, or PPT).

2. Format Requirements:

Title: A concise title that reflects the main findings of your research.
Authors: List all authors, indicating the presenting author with an asterisk (*).
Abstract Text: Maximum 300 words, including background, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: Up to five keywords that capture the essence of your abstract.
Session Preference: Indicate your preference for an oral presentation or poster session.

3. Important Dates:

Call for Abstracts Opens: May 29, 2026
Abstract Submission Deadline (extended): August 12, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: July 31, 2026 (late breaking August 18-21)

4. Presentation Types:

Oral Presentations: Selected abstracts will be invited to give a 10 to 20-minute presentation during the conference sessions.
Poster Presentations: Abstracts selected for posters will be displayed at two dedicated poster sessions for in-depth discussion.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee. Selection criteria include the quality of the research, relevance to the conference themes, and the potential for generating engaging discussion. We hope to receive submissions from a diverse range of researchers including graduate students and early career researchers..
